Humana Military partners with the Department of War to administer TRICARE – the uniformed services healthcare program for active-duty service members, military retirees, and their families – to 4.6 million beneficiaries in the East Region. For more than 30 years, Humana Military has worked to create better health outcomes and simplified experiences through TRICARE and other military healthcare programs. We understand that TRICARE beneficiaries face unique challenges tied to military life. That’s why we’ve built a team of dedicated, specially trained employees to support beneficiaries through challenges including frequent moves, deployments, separations, unemployment, isolation, and food insecurity. This personalized support helps ensure that beneficiaries have access to the care and resources needed to prioritize their health and well-being.
To better address the needs of TRICARE beneficiaries, we have implemented specialized training programs for our Humana Military employees. This comprehensive education covers military culture and the specific needs of service members and their families. Through enhanced expertise, we are working to provide exceptional service to our beneficiaries while honoring our commitment to hiring and retaining veterans and military spouses.2
