Dr. Stephanie Phillips joined CenterWell as a board-certified physician specializing in family medicine. Dr. Phillips completed her family medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Erlanger Hospital System. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Phillips knew very early that she wanted to practice medicine and incorporate her passion for teaching others into her doctor-patient approach. She believes interacting with her patients on a personal level and taking the time to educate them about their medical conditions will help them manage and improve their health. Dr. Phillips advocates for building strong relationships with her patients and emphasizes the importance of gaining her patient's trust, so together they can decide on their best plan of care. This is why she decided to join CenterWell: she felt that their integral approach to senior-focused care and multidisciplinary care team worked hand in hand to address all the factors involved in her patients' lives. Outside the office, Dr. Phillips enjoys spending time with her children, as well as working in her garden, reading historical fiction, and taking ski trips with her family.
