Dr. Todd, who is board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatrics, has recently joined CenterWell in Fort Worth at the Camp Bowie West center. Raised in rural Colorado, he attended the University of Colorado Health Sciences and completed his residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Todd has worked with seniors for most of his career, and in a variety of settings, including clinics, nursing homes, assisted living, and home-based care. “I have partnered with seniors during their health journey – from health and wellness to frailty, end-of-life and all stages in-between,” he reveals. He has been a Medical Director for skilled nursing, assisted living and long-term care facilities, and most recently was Regional Medical Officer at CareMore/Aspire (Anthem), where he worked for two years.
With over 20 years of experience in medicine, Dr. Todd says he still finds it a privilege to learn about his patients’ life journeys and be able to impact their well-being in any way, be it large or small. He defines the right doctor-patient relationship as one of mutual understanding and support. For Dr. Todd, patient satisfaction means listening closely to each patient to make sure their care is in line with their goals. His philosophy of care? “Everyone deserves to be heard and treated as I would want my closest family to be treated” he says.
When he is not working, Dr. Todd likes to spend time with his family, go paddleboarding and do home-improvement projects.
