Mary E. Wilson, NP, joined CenterWell's North Richland Hills facility in Texas as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. She has worked as a healthcare professional for over 10 years. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State University and has been pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with the class of 2023.
Before joining CenterWell in 2022, Ms. Wilson spent six years with Elevance Health, and her practice involved value-based care. She carried out health assessments and preventative measures following physician orders and guidelines. As a nurse practitioner, she’s cared for seniors holistically and understands the importance of providing patients with evidence-based care. She enjoys working at CenterWell because of the high quality of patient care.
Ms. Wilson decided to enter the healthcare profession after her father suffered a heart attack. She feels that geriatrics are a forgotten population, and her motto is "Treat everyone with respect and remember they are loved by someone." She guarantees patient satisfaction by clearly explaining their diagnosis and treatment plan and addressing all their questions. She believes in making a difference in her patients' lives and becoming part of their extended family. Her unique quality is her intuition and saying thank you makes her smile. When she isn’t seeing patients, she enjoys listening to audiobooks, cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family.
