Dr. Kasey Abanonu, a board-certified internal medicine physician, completed his internal medicine residency at Seton Hall University Hospital. He served in the U.S. Navy and received an Honorable Discharge. Before joining CenterWell, Dr. Abanonu cared for seniors as an inpatient physician and hospitalist with Inpatient Consultants. He also worked with Las Vegas Hospitalists, treating Senior Dimension patients at St. Rose Hospitals. He also was a medical director and locum and opened the Integrated Wellness and Pain Management Center. His experience in inpatient care, outpatient practice, and pain management has prepared him to care for high-risk patients and patients with acute and chronic pain issues. He values working at CenterWell because of the structure and has remarked that CenterWell's teams are amazing. He believes in equal healthcare service for all, treating others as you would like to be treated, listening to his patients, and attending to their needs like a family member. Dr. Abanonu chose medicine because he loves helping people in need. He played professional soccer before entering the healthcare field and still enjoys playing soccer and traveling in his free time.
