Julia Idemudia, NP-C, joined CenterWell as a board certified nurse practitioner. Ms. Idemudia earned a Master of Science in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner, With Honors, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grand Canyon University. She received an Associate of Science in Nursing from Glendale Community College and an LPN degree from Metro Tech. Her teaching appointments include educating nursing students and newly hired staff on procedures and patient care techniques as a unit preceptor.
Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Ms. Idemudia practiced at The Little Clinic in Avondale, Arizona, treatingpatients of all ages, from 12 months to 99 years, with acute health issues. As a provider-nurse practitioner at Arizona Medical Group, she cared for adult-geriatrics patients in SNF, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, and private homes. Her experience in hospital settings includes being a staff nurse in the Observation Unit, ICU-MOSU, and the progressive care units of Banner Estrella Medical Center. She advocated for patients and educated them, their families, and caregivers about treatment options and community resources.
Ms. Idemudia chose healthcare to help save lives and geriatrics out of a deep fondness for older adults. When not with her patients, she focuses on learning new skills and techniques. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and taking in nature’s splendor.
