Jessica J. Meredith, AGPCNP-BC

Jessica Meredith comes to CenterWell with 14 years of healthcare experience, first as an RN in Indiana University Health Critical Care Unit, as Nurse Practitioner in the Cardiology Unit, and more recently, at Harrison County Hospital, Corydon IN,  as an NP for Hospitalist Service. Healthcare has provided Jessica the opportunity to make a positive impact on patients and their families on a daily basis, along with continual personal and professional growth. And working at CenterWell, she enjoys being part of a supportive, collaborative team.  “Working together with physicians in both acute-inpatient and outpatient care settings has given me a broad foundation to care for a wide variety of patients with both simple and more complex medical needs,” Jessica says. What’s more, as a board-certified nurse practitioner, a large number of Jessica’s patients have been seniors – especially in Outpatient Cardiology and Inpatient Hospital Care. Jessica believes in actively listening and providing patient- and family-centered compassionate care, always mindful of patients’ limitations and resources. Her philosophy is to treat every patient with dignity and respect, as if they were a member of her own family. According to Jessica, “Patients should feel heard and be comfortable being open with their provider.” She adds that they also need to trust that their care needs will be addressed and met with an expectation of cost-effectiveness. Jessica has a daughter and grandchild, and when she isn’t caring for patients, her hobbies include: road cycling, equestrian events, family time, and riding her horse, Molly!
