Jan Johnson, FNP-C, joined CenterWell as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. He's worked as a healthcare professional since 2018. He graduated from Emory University School of Nursing with a Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner.

Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Mr. Johnson practiced at Emory Healthcare, where he often treated older adults with urinary health issues they may commonly experience, such as nocturia, incontinence, frequency, and more. He previously worked at Nuber-T Men's Health Clinic and Wellstar Healthcare, where he participated in a 12-month leadership training program to become an effective APP. His experience helped prepare him for many common illnesses and diseases in the geriatric population and educating patients to feel empowered to manage their conditions and improve their quality of life.

Mr. Johnson chose healthcare to help people live healthier lives. He believes in treating all patients with respect and the same care he desires for his family and friends. He describes the right doctor-patient relationship as one in which comfort and trust is established so that the patient has greater compliance to care plans. He ensures patient satisfaction by presenting a welcoming, friendly disposition that makes patients feel heard. In his free time, he likes spending time with his wife watching movies, especially 1940s black-and-white films and British mysteries, and he loves to travel.
