Dr. Kuhn has been working in healthcare for seven years and is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst. She completed her residency at Mercy Medical Center in Iowa and is board certified in family medicine. Prior to her role at CenterWell, Dr. Kuhn worked at P3 Medical Group, where she focused on delivering value-based care to seniors. Dr. Kuhn initially set her sights on the healthcare field in order to make a difference in people’s lives, and happily reports she gets to do that every single day. Dr. Kuhn adds that she is especially proud to have chosen a career that is “so fulfilling, it doesn’t seem like work,” and she’s enjoying the commitment to patients that she sees at CenterWell – as well as the people she works with. When it comes to ensuring patient satisfaction, Dr. Kuhn says she strives to treat every patient as she would want her family to be treated, and she defines the right doctor-patient relationship as having mutual trust, understanding and compassion. It’s no surprise that Dr. Kuhn borrowed her philosophy of care from one of the most influential figures in medicine, Hippocrates: Cure sometimes, treat often, comfort always. On a personal note, Dr. Kuhn is married, and when she’s not treating patients, her hobbies include traveling and spending time with her dog. The words she lives by are: “Be fearless in the pursuit of what sets your heart on fire.”
