Christine LeGrande Armenta, MS, FNP-BC, MPH, joined CenterWell as a board-certified family nurse practitioner. Ms. LeGrande Armenta graduated from Arizona State University with a Post-Master of Science, Family Nurse Practitioner, Sigma Theta Tau, and a Master of Science in Community Health Nursing. She obtained a Master of Public Health, Community Health, and Preventive Medicine from the University of Arizona.
Before joining CenterWell in 2023, Ms. LeGrande Armenta served as a family nurse practitioner with Corizon Health, caring for inmate populations and with Sun Valley Internists. For over ten years, she maintained a private practice, Armenta Healthcare Services & Consulting, LLC, where she gained extensive geriatric experience providing home-based primary care services. She previously practiced at Arizona Grand Medical Center, a primary care provider for patients in assisted living facilities and private and adult care homes. "I have a special place in my heart for the elders in our communities," she says. "Each one has a story to tell, and it's my privilege to listen and care for them."
Ms. LeGrande Armenta began her nursing career working in hospice and community-based homecare and is passionate about underserved populations. For nearly 10 years, she provided patient care as a volunteer family nurse practitioner at the faith-based Neighborhood Christian Clinic. She enjoys reading, cooking, family time, and the outdoors.
