Christina Linart is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner who loves making a difference in her patients’ lives and health. She is a recent addition to the CenterWell in Anderson, South Carolina and has been in the healthcare field for 16 years. She is of Hmong origin and speaks her native language in addition to English. Christina earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and her Master of Science in Nursing from Florida Southern College.
Throughout her career, she has worked with the geriatric and underserved populations in preventative care and primary care, including patient prescription assistance programs. Sixteen years ago, her healthcare track began as a Nursing Assistant at Atrium Health-Carolinas Medical Center. After getting her BSN degree, Christina worked as a Registered Nurse at Tampa General Hospital for four years and post-MSN, as a Nurse Practitioner at Polk County Health Dept., Gaston Family Health services, and Courtview Gynecology before joining CenterWell.
Christina defines the right provider-patient relationship as: “Shared medical decision-making focused on the best interest and cost-saving for the patient.” According to Christina, it’s the teamwork, empowerment and encouraging environment that she enjoys most about her profession – all of which she finds here at CenterWell.
When she is not caring for patients, Christina likes spending time with her dogs (her “fur children”) exercising, traveling, and eating authentic foods. The words she lives by are: “Live your life to the fullest.”
