Amanda Lack joined CenterWell in 2019, bringing over 17 years of experience working in the healthcare field. She attended Walden University where she received her Master’s in Nursing and is a board-certified Adult to Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. Amanda Lack entered the healthcare profession because she wanted to follow her passion for serving others by making a difference in their lives. As she advanced in her career, she knew that she wanted to continue caring for her patients and making a positive impact on their lives, so she decided to find a way to care for them at a different level, as a Nurse Practitioner. Amanda emphasizes the importance of getting to know her patients well because she feels it allows her to better help them when they’re dealing with an acute or chronic illness, as well as show them the ways of proactively getting involved in their own health. What she enjoys most about CenterWell is that it has given her the opportunity to become more actively involved in treating patients as a whole. She believes it’s necessary that her patients feel that they are important and not just a number, and at CenterWell, she is able to work with the provider to ensure the patient is taken care of. Amanda always ensures that her patients are satisfied prior to leaving the visit and also encourages them to give her a call should they have any questions or concerns, so they don't wait until their next scheduled appointment to do so. Amanda believes the right relationship between a provider and their patient is to have trust on both sides. The patient needs to trust the provider to give them the best quality of care, while the provider needs to trust the patient to provide honesty and be diligent in accepting the plan of care. When she’s out of the office, Amanda enjoys reading and exercising, however she spends most weekends attending her youngest daughter’s school and club volleyball games.
